T-Mobile Underground Launches The HTC Re Camera Device For $199 In White

HTC has outted a couple of interesting products in the last month or so, with the HTC Desire Eye smartphone and the action camera device aimed at targeting the GoPro market called the HTC Re Camera which looks like a tiny little periscope. The Re Camera was slated for release onto at least a few carriers here in the U.S., with T-Mobile being one of those carriers. While the retail locations have yet to actually start selling the Re Camera, T-Mobile's website for hard to find and exclusive devices called T-Mobile Underground which was announced more than a few months ago, has begun selling the HTC Re Camera for the price of $199.

If you're in the market for an action camera type device that is compatible with your smartphone, and you're a T-Mobile customer who was interested in the Re Camera, now's your chance to order one through the exclusive web portal. The Re Camera provides users with 1080p video and high quality images through the photo capture features, with one-button operation for simplicity and a 146 degree wide-angle lens to capture every detail without leaving anyone or anything out. It also has a plethora of compatible accessories so you can fit it, mount it, and attach it to just about anything like a bike, a bag, or even a window sill with the clip accessory.

The cool thing with the Re Camera too is that the device is actually compatible with a rather large selection of different devices running Android and not just the HTC Desire Eye. That opens up the possibility for many Android users, and it's even compatible with iPhones so if you have a current iPhone it'll work. According to T-Mobile Underground where they list the compatible devices, it works with anything running Android 4.3 and above and any Apple devices running iOS 7 and above. While you can order the Re Camera from T-Mobile Underground right now in White only, you can also order a couple of the different colors through Amazon, although they're currently out of stock so placed orders will ship out when it becomes available and is in stock.
