Micromax Canvas Tab Features Intel CPU, 3G and More for RS 10,999

Micromax is a very well-known smartphone and tablet manufacturer in India. This company was a part of Google's first batch of Android One OEMs, when the company launched Micromax Canvas A1, which runs the stock version of Google's Android OS. Anyhow, Micromax just launched a new tablet in India, Canvas Tab P666. This tablet features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). This tablet is powered by Intel's Atom Z2520 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz which sports Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU for graphics processing. This tablet sports 2 cameras, the one on the back has a 5-megapixel sensor while the one on the front houses the 2-megapixel sensor. Canvas Tab P666 ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and a 4400mAh battery on the inside. Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS are also a part of this package and this device also comes with 3G support, so you can use it for phone calls as long as you stick a SIM card in there. This tablet weighs 310.5 grams and comes pre-loaded with M!Games, M!Live, Bookmyshow, Hike messenger, SwiftKey, Dr. Safety, Opera Browser, etc.

Micromax's Canvas Tab P666 will be available across India from November 29th in Black and White color options for INR 10,999 ($178).
