Meizu MX4 Pro To Go On Sale In December And Cost 3,199 Yuan ($522)

Today is really Meizu MX4 Pro rumors / leaks day. It actually feels like this handset is leaked more than Samsung's Galaxy S devices at this point. We've seen a ton of leaked images / renders of this handset, heard a ton of rumors and even got some official confirmations from Meizu's employees. Talking about those confirmations, we know that this handset will sport a 2K display and a fingerprint scanner below the display, as well as the fact it will launch this month, November 19th. That being said, pricing has been more of a hit and miss as far as this handset goes. Initial rumors have pointed at a 2,499 Yuan ($408) price, while lately we're getting all sorts of listing saying that the device won't cost less than 3000 Yuan ($490).

The latest information that came our way comes from the Chinese retailer, Jingdong Mall. According to this new information, Meizu MX4 Pro will start shipping at the beginning of December after the pre-orders are over and the device will be priced at 3,199 Yuan ($522). This is a significantly higher price than we first thought and expected, this price might push some people away from this device. Keep in mind that this is not an official information nor does it come directly from Meizu, so, who knows. It is quite probable this is the accurate estimate though considering this device will pack some really beastly specs.

Aside from the fact it will pack a 2K display and a fingerprint scanner below the screen, this handset will probably be powered by Samsung's Exynos 5430 octa-core CPU and will ship with 3GB of RAM. That 2K display will be 5.5-inches in size and a 20.7-megapixel camera (Sony's sensor) will probably be included in this package as this handset's main shooter. Android 4.4 KitKat will come pre-installed on this smartphone with Meizu's very own Flyme (powered by YunOS) on top of it. I'm sure we're about to see more leaks until this handset gets launched, this is far from over. The MX4 Pro puzzle is coming together though, slowly but surely. What do you think about this handset so far, would you be interested in getting one?
