Shortly after the LG G Watch R went on sale in the US, the smartwatch is now available in the UK. It's selling price is £225, which equals about $366 in the US. The LG G Watch R is about £70 more then the original LG G Watch, but as someone that has both G Watch's in my possession, I'd say the LG G Watch R is a huge update to the LG G Watch. Not just because of the round display either. It's got better battery life, better performance and just looks so much nicer, I think.
The LG G Watch R has a 1.3-inch P-OLED display, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz, 4GB of internal storage along with 512MB of RAM. There's also a 410mAh battery inside which powers the whole thing. LG has also stuck a heart-rate monitor into the G Watch R, and it's also water-resistant as every watch should be. It's made of stainless steel as well. It may look pretty big in pictures, but it's not really that big. I've actually been using one for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it, and I'm coming from the original LG G Watch.
If you want to see more on the LG G Watch R, be sure to check out our unboxing. It's a great watch from LG, and I can't wait to see what else comes from LG in the near future. As well as other watch makers, well technically phone makers. HTC should have a smartwatch coming out next year as well. How many of you in the UK are looking forward to picking up a LG G Watch R really soon? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments down below. It's definitely a great choice.
