Its that time of year again. Its the Monday before Thanksgiving and you know what that means, right? Its also the Monday before Black Friday. This week is the week when bargain hunters go mad searching for that special deal or that amazing discount. Well, your online BFF Google is stepping up their game this year and looking to lend you a helping hand in finding the right product at the right price. Google have announced this morning that they have made some changes to Google Shopping which are specifically designed to help you get the best information on what's on offer this week.
According to the Google Blog, apparently (nearly) 50% of 25-34 year olds use the internet on their smartphones to check prices and products when actually standing in-line at a store. To add to this, Google state that 27% of users have already began researching Black Friday deals so far this year. As a result and starting this week Google Shopping will now look a little different when you are searching for something. Now when you search for a specific product on your mobile device (phone or tablet) you will see much more details about the searched product. In addition, the results will include a greater list of where you can buy the items and presumably at the deal prices. Not to mention Google have also included a new 360 degree image views on selected products. As such you'll be able to rotate select product images for a much better and all-round view. The upgraded store information will also include details on store availability and customer reviews.
So are you gearing up for Black Friday? Are you one of the users Google has reported has already began researching Black Friday deals? If so, what is at the top of your wish list?
