Find Out Whether Or Not The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Will Be Released In Your Area

After Samsung made the announcement about the Galaxy Note 4, it stunned the IFA conference with the follow up announcement of the Galaxy Note Edge - a Galaxy Note 4 hybrid, if you will, with a curved right-sided display along with the S-Pen and a slightly smaller battery (something had to suffer).  Samsung also made it quite clear that the Galaxy Note Edge was a limited edition model and that it would not be sold everywhere - in fact, we were wondering if Europe or the U.S. would see it at all or would it be an Asia only device.  We know now that it is available in Japan and South Korea and that North America was going to get some loving on the 'edge' - Canada by years end and the U.S. on November 14 on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.  We also know that the Galaxy Note Edge will be available in Europe for €899 (US$1117) in selected stores and in Denmark on December 12, just in time for a GREAT Christmas present, albeit, an expensive one.

According to our source, the Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915FY will launch in the following markets - Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Poland, France, Austria, Portugal and the Nordic Countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.  The Note Edge model SM-N915F will launch in Russia and Kazakhstan and model SM-N915G will hit India, Australia, Singapore and Nepal.  In a great marketing effort, Samsung said it would only bring the Note Edge to Germany if enough people voted for it - more than 120, 210 Germans voted, forcing Samsung to include we hope they will purchase the device.

Even though there are several models out there being sold, the specifications should remain the same on all of them.  It will feature a 5.6-inch Quad HD (QHD) Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with another 160 pixels for the curved edge.  It is using a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the device will support up to a microSD card of 128GB.  It uses a slightly smaller 3000mAh battery (The Galaxy Note 4 has a 3220mAh) to accommodate the curved edge.

The main camera is 16MP with Smart OIS, auto-focus, LED Flash and Live HDR with a front-facing camera (FFC) with 3.7MP with 120-degree wide angle lens for terrific group selfies and office video chatting.  The S-Pen sensitivity was doubled to 2048 and hovering increased to 15mm - making it the closest experience to like writing on real paper with a pencil.  Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are looking forward to buying the new Galaxy always, we would love to hear from you.
