Canadian Play Store Has Nexus 6 as "Coming Soon"

It was just a couple of days ago that the Google Play Store had the new Nexus 9 tablet shipping in 2-3 days - now they are showing the new Nexus 6 smartphone is "coming soon."  The big, new, high spec and bold Nexus 6 will be offered in a beautiful Midnight Blue and Cloud White and offered up in both 32GB and 64GB models.  The U.S. Play Store went up for pre-orders on October 29, however, it reads: We are out of inventory. Please check back soon.  It then goes on to explain:

"We are getting more Nexus 6 devices in stock as soon as possible. To make things simpler for you, we will work to make more devices available each Wednesday and encourage you to visit the site then.  The Nexus 6 will also be available in AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular stores later in November. Please check with your local carrier store for more information."

So it looks like everybody is waiting for the Nexus 6 to arrive...some sources have hinted possibly Friday, but there has been no official word from Google or the carriers.  The pricing starts at $749 CDN for the 32GB model and jumps to $799 for the 64GB model - a much better buy for only $50 more.  It seems to be a problem of supply, but you would think that by now, there would not be that problem - Motorola should be churning out the devices like crazy.  Although, this is the first Nexus to be offered to the four major U.S. carriers and I bet there were some contractual obligations there that must be fulfilled before the Google Play Store gets theirs.  It might be something like this: okay Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, here is 10 each for each of you and one for the Google Play Store!

We will certainly let you know when the Nexus 6 is available for pre-order.  Remember, another incentive to buying the Nexus 6 - you will get 6 months of free Play Music if you make your purchase before December 31 and redeem your free six months before January 31.  It will give you a chance to give it a test drive and see if it is something you would like to stick with and pay the monthly $9.99 subscription.  Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are one of the faithful waiting to purchase a new Nexus always, we would love to hear from you.
