If you take plenty of photos with your smartphone there is a chance that you may have used Aviary. It’s one of the top apps for editing and adding special unique touches to your pictures to enhance them. A few months back Aviary joined on at Adobe, who offers quite possibly the most comprehensive photo editing app for almost any platform, including Android. Now a few months after the two have joined together they have added in some new editing tools for users to take advantage of, enabling further creativity to the mobile photographer with a powerful suite of new features and functions.
Now, the new tools don’t cost anything for users, but you do need to sync Aviary with an Adobe ID to get access to them. Adobe ID’s are free of charge as well, so there’s no cost there either just the task of linking the ID to the app which should only take a few minutes of your time. So what’s included in the new set of tools? For starters, a cool new collection of stickers which you can apply on top of your photos to make them more fun. Beyond that, there’s also there’s also some new photo effects and tools like stencil overlays, new vignettes, and shadow and highlight adjustments.
So far the additions sound like a great deal, however the offer for getting these tools for free is stated as only being available for a limited time, which most likely means that at some point Adobe and Aviary will be adding a cost to them, perhaps through IAP’s or perhaps as a one time buy bundle, we’re not exactly sure. What we do know is that if you’re looking for a great photo editing app or are already using Aviary, you don’t want to miss getting these tools for free and will probably want to take advantage of them while you still have the time, as their slated to leave their “free” status once November ends. Need more stuff to entice you? Aviary has also rebuilt the brush tool so drawing on photos feels more natural and lifelike. You can also sync all your supplies and photo editing tools to the Adobe Creative Cloud, another good thing about the implementation of the Adobe ID. In doing this, you’ll be able to preserve those tools you own forever, and jump them from device to device to use with the Aviary photo editing app. Photo Editor by Aviary is free itself, so you can pick it up now and get the tools for no cost whatsoever. Have any of you ever used Aviary before?
