AT&T Finally Launches The HTC Desire Eye And The HTC RE Camera

Last month HTC introduced us to the HTC RE Camera, their brand new action camera like device for higher quality photos and on the go shots that you might not otherwise be able to get with the camera on your phone, as well as the HTC Desire Eye handset, which features a 13MP camera on both the front and the back, hence the name Eye. Both devices can be purchased separately and work apart, but they do provide some beneficial use when working together of course, and HTC likely planned that out. So far the HTC Desire Eye hasn't been available to purchase for customers, though that changes today as AT&T has just launched both the RE camera and the Desire Eye.

AT&T is letting users now purchase the Desire Eye in both retail locations around the country and online at their website, and if users are planning on buying it on a two-year contract they can get it for just $149.99. As far as the RE camera goes, those will cost $199 out right, although AT&T still lists those as shipping out on November 18th, so you can place your orders now but they won't be coming for a couple more weeks. The HTC Desire Eye on the other hand is ready to ship as soon as you order, so you can say hello to the dual 13MP cameras and the 5.2-inch 1080p screen not long after you hit the add to cart button.

The HTC Desire Eye comes in more than just white and coral reef color, there is a white and blue color too,(like shown in the image above)although the only one available from AT&T's website is the coral option so if you were hoping for the blue model you'll just have to wait it seems as the site doesn't even list it. The good news is that if the coral color is the one you were hoping for, AT&T's website shows that the order gets free overnight shipping so you can have it tomorrow. This is a perfect option if you really want the device and none of your local stores have it in stock. Also worth mentioning, is that if you pick up both the HTC RE Camera and the HTC Desire Eye in the same order, you'll save $50. What a deal huh?
