Another Meizu MX4 Pro Render Leaks With Claims of Push-Activated Fingerprint Sensor

Meizu MX4 launched this September and it's already old news, in a way. Meizu MX4 Pro is on its way and by the looks of it, this handset will take M4's place as company's flagship handset. It seems a bit odd Meizu decided to launch a new flagship less than 3 months after announcing the MX4, but that's how things are done in the mobile tech world these days. Meizu MX4 Pro will launch this month, that has been confirmed earlier and Meizu even teased the November 19th event earlier today on company's official webpage. It seems like we're about to get some awesome audio features along with this handset or at least some accessories to go with it, at least that's what the teaser image suggested. Anyhow, we've seen a ton of info when it comes to this device, including some leaked renders and images. This time around we have some more of those for you.

New render leaked and it goes hand-in-hand with a couple of previously leaked renders / images. This render shows of the front side of the device along with that home button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner below the screen. Not only do we get a good look at the front side of the device but the report says that the fingerprint sensor will require a push in order to activate, just like the one the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 and newer iPhone devices. This is great news actually considering that this is a more natural way of using a fingerprint scanner, I believe you all recall the Galaxy S5's fingerprint scanner and how unpractical was to swipe over it in order to activate it. The inclusion of that fingerprint scanner unfortunately means that we'll lose the "dot" capacitive button Meizu used in their previous MX devices, but they had to implement this scanner somehow.

Meizu MX4 Pro's specs popped up on GFXBench and were later confirmed in a listing at OppoMart's website. The handset will feature a 5.5-inch 2K display along with 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 and 64GB of internal storage. 20.7 and 2-megapixel shooters (Sony's sensor) will also be a part of this package and the device will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat with Flyme OS on top of it. This handset will come in Black and White colors and will sport a 4G LTE connectivity. 3100mAh battery will ship with this handset and the device will reportedly measure 144 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weight 147 grams.
