Xiaomi Is Discounting A Bunch Of Company's Products Including Mi4, Mi Pad And Mi TV

Xiaomi's Mi4 flagship smartphone and Mi Pad tablet have been selling really well in China. Actually, I believe really well is an understatement, Xiaomi is currently China's number 1 manufacturer and Mi4 and Mi Pad are amongst company's best selling products. There are, of course, other Xiaomi's products like the Mi Box and Mi TV which have been selling rather well too. It seems like Xiaomi has decided to discount all of these products on Tmall. You can argue that they were quite affordable thus far, but Xiaomi has decided to make a step forward and make them even more affordable.

If you live in China and you visit Tmall, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Xiaomi did an interesting move and placed a question mark instead of 1 number in prices of these devices. The company still hasn't released new prices for these devices, but it is quite obvious we'll see some discounts. Let's start with Xiaomi Mi4, this smartphone was priced at 1,999 Yuan ($325) thus far and according to sources this device will be priced at 1,799 Yuan ($294) soon. This might be Xiaomi's answer to Meizu MX4's sales, if you recall MX4 has been selling like hotcakes in China and outside of it, so I guess Xiaomi had to do something in order to compete. Xiaomi's Mi Pad was also priced at 1,999 Yuan and it seems that device will also get discounted, we still don't know how much will it cost, but if I had to guess, I'd say 1,799 Yuan. Mi Box already has a new priced, it's priced at 299 Yuan now (was priced at 399 Yuan before the discount). Battery pack and headphones are also getting discounted as well as Mi TV 2, an Android-powered 49-inch UHD TV. This TV was priced at 3,999 Yuan ($650) which is already low for a 4K TV set, but it seems Xiaomi will discount this device as well.

Xiaomi will probably announce new prices soon, so if you live in China you might want to keep your eyes open. These devices already had compelling prices, even before this move by Xiaomi, this can only help company's sales. Does either of these devices appeal to you?
