Rumor: Tonino Lamborghini-Made Antares Luxury Smartphone On Its Way To China

In case you still haven't heard of Tonino Lamborghini, this is an Italian company which was established 33 years ago. It is located in Palazzo del Vignola, a Renaissance villa outside Bologna. The company did some reorganization in 2009 and started doing business in China, South East Asia and the Middle East. This company mostly develops and manufactures luxury accessories. As it says on company's official webpage: "The Group's vision is to bring the passion and spirit of Italy to the global market with unique and distinctive products inspired by the world of Italian Arts & Industrial Design."

Tonino Lamborghini made a rather interesting products and introduced it back in November, I'm talking about a luxury smartphone called Tonino Lamborghini Antares. It seems like this device has found its way to China now. As far as its specifications go, this device sports a 4-inch 960 x 540 display along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). The phone is powered by MediaTek's quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. On the back of this device, you can find a 13-megapixel camera while there's a 5-megapixel snapper up front. Android 4.2 is pre-installed on this device and the device itself is made out of stainless steel, which is hand polished by the way, and artificial leather.

Price? Well, it's relatively low. Just kidding of course, this device is priced at 28,200 Yuan, which is around $4,600. I never understood these luxury phones, I have to be honest. The phone itself isn't all that good looking in my opinion, its specs aren't even high-end and it even uses rather ordinary build materials. Anyhow, it's not confirmed just yet, but according to reports, this device will be available in China rather soon and priced at 28,200 Yuan, as I mentioned above. This is a luxury phone though and it's not meant to appeal to consumers like me though, so I'm not exactly the best person to comment on it. If you're in a market for a luxury phone Tonino Lamborghini is definitely one option you can consider.
