NBA 2K15 Lands On Amazon But Not Google Play Yet

Sports games are certainly big business for the mobile market. Like the console world, sports based games utilise the best of screen resolution coupled with fast and furious gameplay. Now personally, I'm a big FIFA fan with this being my sports game-of-choice, but then again I am British and Football (aka Soccer) runs in the blood. However, the NBA line of games is also an extremely big hitter with well thought out graphics and gameplay. With the NBA season due to start in less than two weeks it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the latest incarnation, NBA 2K15 is finally hitting the app stores.

Just like TV companies securing 'first show' rights to many sports events, it seems that Amazon have managed to secure the exclusivity of NBA 2K15 at least for a short period of time. The game has gone live now on Amazon and priced at a cool $7.99 to download. However as most of you will know Amazon's Appstore is notoriously incompatible with a number of handsets and certainly geared towards Kindle compatibility. With that in mind most Android users will have to wait for Google's Play Store to get the go-ahead to release the app. In terms of when this will happen, who knows! Hopefully though Amazon won't have the exclusive rights for too much longer and is more likely by the time the season starts the game will be more widely available. According to the Amazon listing the new game includes significantly improved graphics along with updates to arenas, player models and player animations. In addition, the game now includes expanded features and options within the 'MyCAREER' option. Not forgetting this version includes new controller support and virtual controller sizing, allowing selection between 3 pre-set sizes.

If you are interested (and a Kindle owner) then give NBA 2K15 a try. You will need to be running Android 4.2 as a minimum and be prepared as the game is a big one weighing in at 1.7GB in size. Other than this the only other requirement is of course $7.99 or 799 coins if you are lucky enough to have stockpiled enough coins from the recent string of amazon coin giveaways. If you reach all the requirements then head over to the Amazon page or simply go through your devices Appstore app. For everyone else we will just have to wait until it hits the Play Store to get out hands on it. If it doesn't land in the next two weeks then at least by then the season would have tipped off.
