In just a few days we'll know all about the Motorola Droid Turbo. As Verizon is holding their DROID Event on Tuesday in New York City. And we'll be there to check it out in person. But that hasn't stopped the leaks of this beast. We've been seeing some pretty big leaks in the past few weeks for the Motorola Droid Turbo, and that includes seeing the full specs leak out a couple weeks ago. Spec-wise the DROID Turbo is going to be sporting a 5.2-inch 2560x1440 resolution IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 3900mAh battery and running Android 4.4.4. Although there have been some rumors of it running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. We'll have to wait and see what Motorola and Verizon tell us on Tuesday. Or rather show us.
Either way, we've got pictures of the retail packaging here. And you'll notice the familiar DROID packaging. So nothing too special here. You'll also see that it does have that chin that most recent DROIDs have had, as well as the capacitive buttons. Now I'm not a big fan of capacitive, but it can't be too bad, and obviously a lot of people are fans of it. You'll also see that it is a kevlar back. Which, from the past few DROIDs from Motorola, it feels great in the hand. Not as great as leather but pretty damn good nonetheless. You can also see that the package says it comes with the Turbo charger, and you can also see the Turbo charger in the box. So it's great to see that packaged in with the DROID Turbo. Hence the name. The Turbo Charger is also in the box with the Nexus 6.
So that's the retail packaging of the DROID Turbo. We'll know all the details come Tuesday. How many of you are excited to see what Verizon has for us?
