Meizu MX4 Silverwing Edition Is Now On Sale In China, Check Out A Ton Of Unboxing Images Here

Meizu held a conference in Beijing a couple of days ago and along with announcing partnership with Alibaba, the company has announced 2 new versions of their MX4 device, Gold and Silverwing edition. These devices are basically colored MX4 version, the former one sports a gold colored shell while the latter one comes colored in silver and with a glossy back cover. We're talking about a solid aluminum frame build here as well. Anyhow, MX4 Silverwing is on sale in China since noon today (27th of October, local time). If you live in China you can pick one up if you follow this link, keep in mind that Meizu's servers are relatively busy as of writing this article so the site might be somewhat slow. MX4 Silverwing is priced at 1799 Yuan ($294), same as the original Meizu MX4.

That being said, we have an unboxing of this device to share with you, courtesy of Sina Technology from China. There are tons of images for you to check out in the gallery below and the device is even compared side-by-side with the original (grey) MX4 smartphone. MX4 Silverwing edition looks really good, though keep in mind this is basically the original device, not much has changed, except what I mentioned in this article. Either way you spin this, MX4 devices are a steal in China. These are flagships handsets which Chinese consumers can get for a sub-$300 price, so... yeah. Anyhow, Gold and Silverwing editions of Meizu MX4 will become available internationally as well in due time, Meizu has confirmed, we still don't know when though. The original MX4 is available internationally for quite some time, as you probably already know, though the price is somewhat higher than it is in China, of course.

Meizu has yet another device ready to go, the company will launch Meizu MX4 Pro in November. This thing will sports a fingerprint sensor below the screen and if leaked GFXBench benchmarks and rumors are to be believed it will ship with a 5.5-inch 2K display, 3GB of RAM and will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 5430 octa-core processor. The same 20.7-megapixel camera from Meizu MX4 should be included in this device as well.
