LG G Watch R Is Now Listed On Amazon, LG Is Not The Seller Though

LG has unveiled company's second Android Wear smartwatch back in August, the watch is called LG G Watch R and it sports a circular display, unlike the company's first Android Wear smartwatch. LG G Watch had a rectangular shape and was rather when its design is considered, LG G Watch R is everything but that. This watch features a rather sporty look and is made out of metal (mostly). The LG G Watch R will be available from Clove tomorrow and will hit Europe in November. The watch is currently available via Amazon.com, though there's a catch, this isn't the official seller we're talking about (LG), the watch is being sold by outside seller "tae oh" for $398.75. This offer popped up quite recently and if you're interested check it out, but keep in mind this is not an official offering.

LG G Watch sports a 1.3-inch P-OLED display 320 x 320 in resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz while it offer 512MB of RAM for multitasking. The watch ships with 4GB of internal storage and 410mAh battery, which is a little big bigger than the one on the G Watch which sports a 400mAh unit. Google's Android Wear OS comes pre-installed here and the watch has IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. Barometer and PPG sensors are also part of the package.

This watch is LG's response to Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch which also sports a circular screen, though the watches are quite different. Motorola is aiming for that classy / sleek look while the LG is going for a more sporty look and I believe both of these offerings are great, depending on what you prefer of course. This price is really high though, G Watch R will be expensive once LG officially lists it for sale, this listing on Amazon is no different though. If you really have to buy it before it officially launches, you might want to check out this offer, or wait for Clove to list it for sale, they'll do that within 24 hours. Do you like LG G Watch R or you prefer some other, already released smartwatch?
