Icons and icon packs are a big thing in Android these days, certainly bigger than they were just a couple years ago. While there are tons of great icon packs out there on the Play Store from many different developers, one developer that some of you may know by the name of Kovdev has consistently put out some amazing work. Nox, one of his previous icon packs is very popular and well known for their square shape and drop shadow effects helping to give parts of the icons that 3D effect. Kovdev now has a new icon pack available on the Play Store called Audax, and instead of going square with this one Audax takes on a more circular shape.
You’ll still see a tiny bit of shadow with Audax, and just by looking at it you can tell that plenty of time went into making these icons and getting them ready. You’ll likely find a few duplicates of icons to give you some variety depending on what color you like, and when it comes to variety Audax has a lot of it because there are 2000+ icons in total here. That’s a ton of different icons so there is a good chance that many of the apps you’ll use are themed, especially mainstream ones from Google and other top name apps.
In addition to the treasure trove of icons Audax also gives users a large selection of cloud based wallpapers to get their hands on, which they can download to their devices and use for their backdrop any time they wish. According to the devs, these icons were designed and meant to be put on display as large as possible, so they highly recommend using 130% for the icon size, which you can modify inside the settings menus for your third party home launcher app. Audax supports a wide range of third party launchers, which of course includes the more well known launchers like Nova, Apex, Aviate, as well as ADW, Go Launcher, Atom Launcher, and a handful of others. Having trouble finding an icon? Audax includes an embedded icon browser with search so you can find things as easily as possible. Audax will cost you $1.99, and you can grab it from the Play Store link here if you wanted to bring some new life and style to your homescreen.
