The Google Nexus 9 Is Up For Pre-Order A Day Early Via Amazon

AH Nexus 9 1.1 Press

Officially the Google Nexus 9 goes up for pre-order in the U.S. via the Play Store tomorrow, October 17th, but if you can’t wait another 12 hours or so it appears that the U.S. Amazon web store has the pre-order availability for you right this very moment. it’s also worth mentioning that Amazon in France and Germany appear to have it up for pre-order too, so check Amazon where you live. Seen as how this is the first opportunity anyone is getting at pre-ordering this brand new Nexus tablet from Google and HTC, there’s no telling how long the pre-order stock will last so we’d act fast if you want your chance at getting one a day before everyone else. That’s the good news. The bad, if you want to think of it that way, is that the device won’t ship till November 3rd just like the Play Store orders, so you’re really not getting the chance to receive it on your doorstep before anyone else, merely securing a device through pre-order earlier than some.

Both the White and Black versions of the Google Nexus 9 are available,(sorry, no sand color on Amazon yet)and both the 16GB and 32GB models are up in either flavor. So have at it if you were wanting to get a hold of one of these, because who knows what tomorrow’s pre-order frenzy will be like once the Play Store gets them in stock. The prices are listed as $399.99 and $479.99, which is quite a bit more than what we’ve been used to for Nexus tablets but we already knew the prices from yesterday and given the use of materials and hardware the price seems fair.

What you’re getting is that 8.9-inch IPS LCD display, and a device powered by the Nvidia Tegra K1 64-bit dual-core processor running Android 5.0 Lollipop. So basically, next gen Android OS and quite possibly the most powerful mobile CPU on the market currently, if anything certainly a CPU that delivers the best graphical performance. Are you interested in picking up the Nexus 9? If so what do you look forward to most once you get it? Games? Movies? Books? All of the above?
