Google Nexus 9 Now Available on Google Play for Pre-Order

After Amazon, Best Buy and HTC's websites all put up the Google Nexus 9 for pre-order, Google Play finally decided to open them up. Prices are the same as everywhere else, so we're looking at the 16GB model going for $399, the 32GB model at $479, and the 32GB 4G LTE model at $599. Which is quite the jump from the Nexus 7 (2013) which was just $229 and $269 for the 16GB and 32GB models. Google has also stopped selling the Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10. But I think we all saw that coming. As the Nexus 9 is basically replacing both tablets.

The Nexus 9 features a 8.9-inch 2048x1536 resolution display, NVIDIA Tegra K1 (64 bit) processor along with 2GB of RAM. HTC also has a 6700mAh battery inside which should keep it going all day long for most of you out there. Google is selling it in white, sand and black colors. And from a distance it does look like an iPad, even more so with the color choices. The Nexus 9 is listed as shipping in 2-3 weeks, but we do know that they will begin shipping on November 3rd.

So now we have pre-orders for the Nexus 9 at Best Buy, HTC, Amazon and now Google Play. Who else is going to jump on with pre-orders? Well we aren't sure but if we find any others, we'll be sure to let everyone know, as we always do! How many of you are anxious to get your hands on a new Nexus 9 built by HTC? What about Android 5.0 Lollipop? I think that's what more people are interested in, over the actual hardware. As Android 5.0 is a huge upgrade to Android, in fact it's the biggest update we've ever had. So there's going to be lots of content. So you won't want to miss any of it. Make sure you keep it locked to Android Headlines.

If you pick up the Google Nexus 9 from Amazon, you can avoid tax (in most states) and shipping as well. Just hit the widget down below.
