It's almost Halloween! It is one of our favorite holidays. We're not the only ones that likes to have fun with Halloween-themed things, though. Fruit Ninja has teamed up with Ghostbusters for a spooky, fruit-filled autumn celebration.
Sony Pictures partnered with Halfbrick, the maker of Fruit Ninja, to celebrate the Ghostbusters' 30 year anniversary. If you've already purchased the game, the new Ghostbusters content is free for you. All you have to do is update the app. In the update, the Fruit Ninja team has a problem with ghostly, ghastly fruit. Who ya gonna call? The Ghostbusters, of course! Pick your character to slash and combo through this mysterious ghost fruit using the new Proton Pack blade. There's new music and art as well.
If you don't know about Fruit Ninja, what are you even doing? It's an action game that first came out in April of 2010. The goal of the game is to slash fruit that jumps up from the bottom of the screen while avoiding bombs that can hinder your progress. There are three modes to the game that each offer different challenges: Classic Mode, Arcade Mode, and Zen Mode. You can collect different blades and backgrounds while working through each mode and hitting new achievements. The game just got a big update at the beginning of this month that added a bunch of new gameplay changes. Now the Blades and Dojos can effect what happens in the game.
