Bump Gives Any LG G3 A Fully Functional TWRP Recovery

Today is a very good day for anybody who owns an LG G3 and also likes custom ROMs. That's because a little thing called "Bump" just surfaced and it grants LG G3 owners something pretty cool, fully functional TWRP recovery. Bump was created by Team Codefire and allows any variant of the LG G3, yes any variant, to boot into TWRP custom recovery and then flash ROMs to your heart's desire. The only prerequisite to this is, obviously, that your G3 has to be rooted and that you have a little ADB experience.

Using Bump will not only provide you with a full TWRP custom recovery for your LG G3, but it also give you more freedom than usual with custom ROMs. What do we mean by this you ask? Well, according to the folks over on the XDA Bump thread, the ROM that you want to install on your G3 only has to be compatible with your carrier. They are also saying that any ROM that you want must be "Bump'd but Team Codefire eases that pain with the assurance that almost all ROMs that you will want to use will already be pre-Bump'd.

Let's say that you get Bump on your LG G3 and are now sitting there wondering, "How do I get into recovery mode on my G3?", well then keep reading because we are here to help. To get into recovery on your G3, first power off the phone and make sure the USB is not plugged in. Once the phone is off and unplugged, hold volume down and power at the same time until you see the LG logo then keep holding the volume down but release power and quickly press it again. Continue to hold both the volume down and power and eventually you will see the factory reset screen appear, don't worry, using Bump means you don't lose your data. Press volume down and then power to confirm, press volume down once again and power once again and you're done!
