Alcatel One Touch P320X launched earlier this year and it seems the device is on its way to China. Today is National Day of the People's Republic of China and you can get some devices on the cheap if you look hard enough so I'm not sure if this is a good timing for the company. You'll be able to get Alcatel One Touch P320X for 899 Yuan (about $146) in China. Keep in mind this is a tablet we're talking about, not a smartphone. Alcatel is not exactly the most prominent brand these days, but this is an OK mid-range tablet for those on a budget, anyhow, let's check out its specifications.
One Touch P320X is a 3G device, so you can stick a SIM card in it if you want. The device features an 8-inch IPS LCD screen 1280 x 800 in resolution and it comes with 1GB of RAM for your multitasking needs. It is powered by MediaTek's MT8382 quad-core processor and it comes with a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera. The device also has a VGA front-facing shooter built-in. This tablet measures 209 x 122.8 x 7.9mm and it weighs about 325 grams. You get 8GB of internal storage with this device though you can expand that via MicroSD card up to 64GB. Bluetooth 4.0 is also included as well as usual connectivity options and sensors. The source claims that the device comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS though this tablet was first shipped with Android 4.2 out of the box, so I guess it depends on where you buy it. 4060mAh battery is also a part of this package.
This is not a bad deal for this device I guess although I believe there are better offers in Chinese market if you look hard enough. I haven't had contact with Alcatel's devices for quite some time now so I can't exactly speak about their quality, but the device looks good enough. We can't exactly ask for much considering the price, now can we. Do you own a tablet? If you do, which one?
