Verizon's @DroidLanding Twitter Account Reactivates, New Droid incoming?

Compared to last year, Motorola is a little bit behind. As they announced the Droid Maxx, Ultra and Mini in late July last year, and the Moto X in early august. However they are set to announce the new Moto X on Thursday in Chicago. But we've heard nothing about a new Droid or Droids. But we have heard some rumors of a Droid Turbo.

Verizon's infamous @DroidLanding Twitter account just reactivated. So it looks like we might be getting a new Motorola DROID device coming in pretty soon. As the @DroidLanding account always pops back up shortly before a new DROID Launch. Or before it launches a new app that most won't ever use. The Tweet says "Reactivation fast approaching, wait and see."

Now with IFA and Motorola's event happening this week, this could either be an epic troll, or something coming from Motorola and Verizon very, very soon. Hopefully no one's trolling us here, but we can't say it hasn't been done before. Remember that augmented reality app that Verizon and Motorola launched? No? Didn't think so.

We have heard a rumor about the Droid Turbo. And that's it. Literally. That's all we've heard, is one single rumor. So I'm venturing to guess that we won't see anything this week, and it may be a bit further down the road. But hey, we'll find out on Thursday, now won't we? We're expecting Motorola to announce the Moto X+1 or the New Moto X, alongside the Moto G2 and the Moto 360 launch plans. There's also some sort of wearable headset, that we'll probably get as well. Could Motorola surprise us all and throw in a few Motorola DROIDs as well? Anything's possible with Motorola these days.
