When your own a smartphone or tablet one of the hottest items to own is a wireless Bluetooth speaker. It is such a great way to take your music with you anywhere you go - beach, party, picnic or the quiet solitude of your own four walls...there is just nothing like music to lift up your joys or support you when you are feeling low and alone. There are many models to choose from, but many of the better ones are $100+. An American manufacturer in Oregon, Sol Republic, is known for their quality made speakers - both rugged for outdoor usage and quality of their sound in a small package, although Sol Republic sells a variety of audio products, such as headphones, portable speakers, and ear buds.
There newest released speaker is called 'PUNK.' It is about the size of a hockey puck - both in diameter and thickness - and can easily be transported in your pocket. It features Sol Republic's Fearless Sound, with volume so high you can enjoy your music over the crashing waves. It is water, dust and shock resistant - able to take a push of the table or water splashed from the swimming pool. It even has a common quarter-inch threaded mount on the bottom of the speaker for mounting on a bicycle or camera mount for placing it out on the patio or in the shrubs out of sight.
The PUNK features eight hours of battery life, which they claim is 50-percent more than other speakers do its size. You also get a 60-foot wireless distance radius, enough to continue playing music when you have to run inside to make more hors d'oeuvres...or grab more beer. The PUNK also has input/output jacks to hook up non-Bluetooth devices or plug it into your car stereo to expand its sound or plug in your 3.5mm headphones to listen in private.
For that 'PUNK' look, it comes in a variety of colors - Black, Horizon Blue, Fluoro Red, Cargo, Navy, Lemon Lime and Ion Green - and can be purchased at Sol Republic's website, RadioShack and Best Buy for $69.99 with free shipping. Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you use a wireless speaker with your device and how you like it. Does the PUNK look like it would fit in with your plans...as always, we would love to hear from you.
