Motorola DROID Turbo Back Panel Leaks Out

We've been hearing more rumors about the next DROID headed for Verizon than we have the next Nexus. Which is a little strange. As we are normally hearing tons and tons of rumors about the next Nexus at this time of year. The DROID Turbo is said to be coming to Verizon in the next month or so, and according to HelloMotoHK, the image up above is the back plate for that device.

It does look a lot like the DROID Maxx from last year, except there's a bit more kevlar back there. Or at least a bit more material that looks like Kevlar. The DROID Turbo has been rumored to have a QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, DROID Maxx-like battery inside, with Turbo charging and perhaps even wireless charging. Which would make it much more desirable over the Moto X, actually. Not because the Moto X is bad, but it does have a few short comings, but then again so does every device out there.

Back to the back panel here. Now just because HelloMotoHK has posted this up this week for the DROID Turbo doesn't mean that this is what it'll look like. Although there is a high chance of it being true. Why? Because HelloMotoHK has been leaking Motorola stuff for years now and have a very good rate of being correct, dare I say more than Evleaks? Who wasn't wrong all that often either. While the back doesn't look ugly, it doesn't look all that changed from last year. And looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like it's much bigger than the DROID Maxx. Which means we probably will see a 5 or 5.2-inch device in the DROID Turbo.

When the DROID Turbo is finally unveiled, we'll be sure to have all the info, so make sure you keep it locked here to Android Headlines.
