HTC Desire 510 Available Today on Boost – Coming Soon to Virgin Mobile

We just did a story last week about the new HTC Desire 510 finding its way to Sprint and eventually to both Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile sometime this week.  The time for Boost Mobile is today and we expect Virgin Mobile will make its announce any day.  The HTC Desire 510 is a device that falls between a low-mid range device, yet still has a 64-bit capable processor thrown into the mix of specifications.  We are glad to see HTC stepping forward to start arming, even their lower end devices, with the new line of lower end Qualcomm processors that are capable of processing the next 64-bit Android L coming out soon.

The Boost Mobile model is available in White only and the Blue model will be going to Virgin Mobile – both carriers will charge $99.99 + taxes, but with free shipping.  It is available now at Boost Mobile retail stores, select independent wireless dealers nationwide, and online at our source link, found below.

The HTC Desire 510 has a 4.7-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels or about 208 pixels-per-inch (PPI).  It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and uses four Cortex-A53 CPUs and an Adreno 306 GPU.  It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot to add an additional 128GB of storage – enough for all of your photos, videos and music. The main camera is a 5MP with no flash and only a 1.3MP Camera for the selfies.  It also has Crystal Clear HD Voice capabilities. It can handle NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP and Wi-Fi, has a 2100mAh battery for power and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.  It measures 139.9 x 69.8 x 10mm and weighs in at 158 grams.

Boost is offering $5 off each of their three plans and double the data – their lowest price plan will run you $35 a month and offers you unlimited talk, text and data, with 1GB of high-speed 3G/4G data.  The next program will cost you $45 a month with unlimited talk, text and data, with 5GB of high-speed data.  The last plan is $55 and will give you unlimited talk, text and data, but with 10GB of that being high-speed data.  This is a limited time only until November 3, 2014. Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you will be taking advantage of this great pricing…as always, we would love to hear from you.
