Google Is Giving Out Two Free Months Of Hulu Plus For New Chromecast Customers

There's no doubt that the Chromecast is a wonderful little piece of equipment. It allows users to stream all kinds of great stuff to their big screen TVs or large PC monitors, and then control of all the content they fling just by using the interface of compatible apps from their Android smartphone or tablets. One of those great apps comes in the form of the wide selection of content available from Hulu Plus, and if you're in the market for a new Chromecast, a new Chromecast offer is available that Google is giving out to new customers.

If you're a new buyer Google will be giving you two free months of Hulu Plus, which normally costs a $7.99 monthly subscription fee, just for buying the little HDMI streaming dongle. That allows you 60 free days of unlimited video streaming of some of the hottest TV shows, currently airing and already over as well as tons of movies and other video clips, straight to the TV through the Chromecast. Once the 2 free months is up of course you'll end up paying the normal monthly fee but we think that goes without saying. The cool thing is that you won't be just limited to using Hulu Plus while you're at home and streaming to the TV, you'll be able to use the app while you're out and about as well. That capability could come in handy if you live in the city and commute by public transportation as movies and TV are a great way to pass the time while you wait for the next bus or train.

Think about it, that's saving you $16 over the course of a two month period. Something that if you had purchased your Chromecast over a month ago and are just now deciding it's time to sign up for Hulu Plus, isn't available to you. When you pair that $16 with the $35 cost of the Chromecast dongle, that's a $51 investment for the ability to stream media from your device, which is now for a limited time decreased to just the cost of the Chromecast. This isn't the first Chromecast offer to pop up, and it likely won't be the last, but considering the awesome content that Hulu Plus has in its library, now is just as good of a time as any to buy the device. You can grab the Chromecast from the Play Store or pretty much any Best Buy, and on Amazon of course.
