Verizon Bring Advanced Calling 1.0 and Bug Fixes to the Galaxy S5 and LG G2
Verizon is preparing to roll out HD voice calling on a number of their devices and the Galaxy S5 and LG G2 are now prepared for the new tech with their latest over-the-air updates. The Galaxy S5 gets a small update to G900VVRU1ANI2 which fixes a number of bugs and allows for the camera shutter sound to be turned on or off in the settings, too. Meanwhile, the LG G2 is updated to VS98026A and also brings Advanced Calling 1.0 along for the ride as well as the usual slew of software bug fixes. AT&T Announce New Update for Galaxy S4
It’s been a real quiet week when it comes to updates, but after last week’s flood it’s hardly surprising. No matter though, for AT&T and Samsung have another exciting update planned for the Galaxy S4. Coming in with the build number 1337UCUFNB1 AT&T is detailing fixes to make the device better at well, being a phone. That means better text messaging and voice calling stuff for all those out there that don’t know what a phone conversation is any more.
Xperia T2 Ultra Dual Gets Android 4.4.3 Update
There’s something about Sony’s update policy that has never really made that much sense to us, and this latest update to the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual (not to be confused with the normal T2) just goes to show it. They’ve now updated the T2 Ultra Dual to software version 19.1.1.C.0.56 which brings it up to Android 4.4.3 and also apparently brings better battery life with it, too. So, why not Android 4.4.4? Well, we have no idea. So go and ask Sony.
