Alleged Press Shots Of Sony's Xperia Z3 Compact Get Leaked

Sony is only one of many top OEMs poised to be showing off some cool stuff coming up at IFA in the next few days, and one of those things is believed to possibly be the Xperia Z3 compact, along with the Xperia Z3 and potential new smartwatch and smartband. With earlier leaks of the Xperia Z3 revealing not too much of a change in the design department, we can probably expect the same out of the Z3 compact when things are official as the compact devices tend to look near identical, just in a smaller size. With just a couple of days left to go before we might actually get to see what the Z3 compact looks like, some photos have leaked showing off that we can at least expect to see multiple color options, something that isn't uncommon with past Sony products.

These alleged new leaks of the Sony Xperia Z3 compact show off four different color options of the device, with Red, White, Black, and what looks to be a turquoise color, although according to the source which is Australian website Ausdroid, the color is listed as mint. Just like we saw from the leaks of the Xperia Z3, these leaks of the Z3 compact show some slightly rounder edges on the sides of the frame. It also looks like in one of the images we can see some pogo connector pins usable most likely with a charging dock.

If we actually get to see this device shown off at IFA in the next few days, then we should learn of the official specs and features, although at this point in time we only of know of what the Z3 compact is supposedly packing. Those supposed specs include a 720p resolution display set at 4.5-inches, a Snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm, and the infamous awesome Sony camera setup with a 20.7MP rear facing camera for likely what will be amazing pictures. Also something we can look forward to, the waterproofing we have come to know of more recent Sony phones and tablets as well. Although things will be a bit smaller here, the Z3 compact will be a great little device for those who don't want too large of a screen. Soon enough we should know the official details, like all the official specs, availability and price.
