60,000 Redmi 1S Devices Will Go On Sale On September 23rd Via Flipkart For 5,999 INR

Xiaomi announced Redmi 1s back in July. The device is selling like crazy since then, the company sold 40,000 units in just 4.5 seconds earlier this week. Xiaomi is holding yet another flash sale in India, this time they have 60,000 units ready to go. Tons of people register for each of these flash sales Xiaomi is holding, this will be their fourth flash sale for Redmi 1s and I'm pretty sure it will sell out just as fast as it has in the past. Xiaomi has announced this sale will go through Flipkart once again and that a lot of people registered already. If you're from India and you'd like to register, follow the source link below. Remember that you can get only 1 phone per person and the sale will go through on September 23rd at 2PM (Indian) local time. Xiaomi has even temporarily stopped Mi3 sales in order to focus on delivering as many Redmi 1S devices as they possibly can, the demand incredible for this budget-friendly smartphone.

Talking about budget, the device will set you back 5,999 INR if you decide to purchase it (the original price is 6,999 INR). Not that it matters considering this sale is for India, but that comes to about $98. The device is sporting a 4.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz which comes with Adreno 305 GPU. 8-megapixel can be found at the back fo this device while there's a 1.6-megapixel shooter up front. 2000mAh battery is also part of the package and the device comes with Android 4.3 JellyBean pre-installed with Xiaomi's MIUI 5.0 OS on top of it.

I'm sure this is not the last flash sale Xiaomi will offer, but if you're interested this sure is a good deal. The device is a solid mid-range offering and you basically can't go wrong if you consider the price. Do you own a Redmi 1s device or do you intend to get one?
