11 Bit Studios Launches Anomaly Defenders Ahead Of Schedule

11 Bit Studios is well known among the gaming community, as they have a number of amazing titles filled with rich content, strategic and fun gameplay and most of all, some insanely gorgeous eye popping visuals. Anomaly Warzone Earth started it all, taking the Tower Defense genre of games that were already massively popular at that time and turning it on its head, putting you in the seat of offensive units instead of the defensive side of things. The entire series of Anomaly titles has been this way, up until the announcement of Anomaly Defenders.

As many of you may already know, Anomaly Defenders puts you in the role of the defensive units this time around, with the back story centered around your role as the aliens that invaded earth, now defending their own homeworld from the humans. The game has been up on Steam for PC for quite some time, and 11 Bit Studios had actually said they would be releasing the game onto Android sometime next week, but it appears that they were able to get it out a little ahead of schedule, as the game is now live in the Play Store.

Just like You'd expect of a tower defense title,  Anomaly Defenders will give you features like managing your defenses and deploying towers and other units to repel the Human Invaders trying to extinguish you. There are eight unique upgradeable towers that you'll be able to utilize throughout the game, what 11 Bit Studios has called a "full blown tech tree to tailor unique strategies," and there are three separate difficulty levels so whether you're a newcomer or a hardcore Anomaly and Tower Defense enthusiast, there will be a game setting that is perfect for you. You'll need to place towers and defenses strategically to outsmart the pesky humans, a task that should prove to be most engaging. Sadly this is reportedly going to be the last title in the Anomaly series of games from 11 Bit, but they have another exciting game on the way that sounds pretty promising that we are actually looking forward to called This War Of Mine, so watch out for that one. Anomaly Defenders will set users back $3.99, an excellent price for everything you get.
