Top Android Homescreen August 8th Edition: Coast

It's time for another custom homescreen, and as always we grab our picks from mycolorscreen simply because we find some of the most amazing customizations there. This weeks pick is just as easy to apply it as it is to view it, and boy is viewing it easy because it just looks that good. This one sticks close to the simplistic and minimalist approach to customization, and we're fine with that. Once in a while a little more of a complex theme is a nice thing to have, but the simplistic homescreens just look so elegant that they're hard to overlook, and that's exactly what we see going on here, with matching color themed buttons for phone, messaging, and email, and the search bar that sticks to the same color scheme. The homescreen was followed up with a fairly transparent widget in the middle displaying the weather and carrying a few more app shortcuts, and basically it all just comes together for a nice cohesive display.

This custom homescreen is called Coast, and is another custom homescreen created by 21MaRcO12, who we have featured on here before. You can apply this theme in one of two ways, so whichever you prefer you can grab the files for either method. You can apply the custom homescreen look to your own device with either Themer, or with the use of Zooper widget pro. Zooper Pro requires a payment of a couple bucks, but it's well worth it for the customizations you can do with the app. Themer is free, and so are the files for download, although Themer is a complete home launcher replacement where as Zooper is just widgets that you place on your homescreen but you can still use your launcher of choice. You can grab the download files of your choice from the source link below, and make sure that if you like the homescreen theme, to "Zoom" it and hit the Love button and show 21MaRcO12 some appreciation in creating this theme.
