Sqor: 'There Is No Off Season' - Try It For A Chance To Win A $250 Google Play Gift Card

A special contest sponsored by Sqor just for our readers: From now until September 5, all you have to do is sign up for a Sqor account - either download the App to your phone, or sign up online...then write a comment on your Sqor account using the #sqordroid. Sqor will pick 4 lucky winners to receive $250 Google Play gift cards and some Sqor swag!  A pretty nice deal for simply signing up and making a post - but remember - it is only until Friday, September 5 so don't delay! If you are really into sports and love to talk about it with other enthusiasts, then Sqor is for you.  However, there is one huge added bonus in using Sqor - the athletes themselves are on Sqor to answer questions and to participant in the discussions...it is kind of like winning a pass into the locker room for a news conference.  Sqor has partnered with over 1,500 athletes because Sqor knows that is what we really want - access to the athletes themselves.  I mean it is nice to hear what Joe Blow has to say, but wouldn't you really rather hear what Brett Favre thinks? - I know I would.

Naturally, Sqor has been a hit App on iOS, and now they are graciously bringing it over to the Android world giving us a chance to connect and participate with 'insider' access to our favorite athletes on the web.  The Android version of Sqor features editorial and social content posted in timeline fashion by both users and athletes.  Users can set notifications, post comments, set up favorites, search the content, view user and athlete profiles, view images, videos, and of course you can share items of interest via social medias like Facebook and Twitter. Brian Wilhite, CEO and Founder at Sqor said: "We are very excited to be launching via Google Play and bringing Sqor content to Android devices.  As one of the leading application ecosystems, we know the importance of being compatible to Android products.  We highly appreciate the support that Google Play offers to app producers, and we believe that Android users who are interested in sports, interactive football showdowns, athlete contests and giveaways, and real-time access to the athletes, will love what we've created."

This is a great time to introduce Sqor to the Android users - football season is in the air and fans are dying to connect with one another.  Brett Favre, NFL Legend and Sqor Board Member says, "I'm excited about the new Sqor Showdowns.  It was great getting to interact with fans who were playing against me with Sqor's Showdowns last year.  With all the new gaming features Sqor has added, this year is going to be even better."

Showdowns is a Sqor online feature (coming soon to mobile) that is kind of like a friendly football pool - users predict the winning teams each week, challenging their friends for virtual badges/trophies if you win.  What is really exciting this year, starting in September, if you win at least 10 showdowns, you will be entered in a contest to win a $500 gift card to Fanatics.com.  Not only that, but also some of Sqor's NFL athletes, such as Brett Favre, will be giving away signed memorabilia every week to Showdown participants.  Showdowns were created to encourage head-to-head competition and interaction among the fans and athletes.  Sqor will be adding more Showdowns such as MMA, NBA, MLB, and others in the following months, so be sure to keep you eye open for them as well. So there are two ways to win with Sqor - they are offering our Android readers the opportunity to 'sqor' one of four $250 Google Play Gift Cards and that offer is good until September 5, and then through the year everybody has a chance to win gifts via the Sqor Showdowns done each week.  Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you signed up to win and to 'Sqor' in this years NFL season...as always, we would love to hear from you.
