LG Shows The G3 Stylus Phablet In Its Official Promo Video

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 announcement is just around the corner, it is expected to take place this September. Samsung already scheduled its unpacked event for September 3rd where they will announce their new Galaxy Note flagship. Needless to say, this is one of the most expected devices of the year and will sell like crazy once its out. That aside, about a month ago an interesting leak came our way mentioning a mysterious LG G3 Stylus device. The name of this device of course suggested that it will sport a stylus and from there we could assume that it will be a phablet and thus a Galaxy Note 4 competitor, but we didn't get much more information about that device up until now.

LG released a really cheesy promo video on its LG Mobile Global YouTube channel today. The video is 3 minutes long and there's seemingly nothing special about it. LG is trying to show of LG G3 Beat's feature and design advantages in the video itself, but at the end of the video LG gives us a glimpse of something really interesting. Next to the LG G3 and LG G3 Beat a new device appears, dubbed LG G3 Stylus. You may notice that the device is bigger than the LG G3 and the G3 Beat. The video also shows the stylus which will be a part of the LG G3 Stylus' package which seems rather ordinary when you look at it although we don't doubt LG has some tricks up its sleeve when it comes to this. We would actually expect LG to use a Wacom stylus as the one Samsung's using, but we'll see. If you take a closer look at the video itself or the image below you'll also see that the G3 Stylus doesn't have that laser autofocus sensor which both the G3 and the G3 Beat sport, but instead has a regular LED flash. Its stylus is placed at the top right side of the device which you can also see if you look either the video or the image below.

There's still no word on when this device will be announced, but if we were to guess this will happen rather soon. As we said, Galaxy Note 4 is expected to launch September 3rd, so I bet LG will launch the G3 Stylus either before that date or shortly after. Anyone excited about this one?
