If you didn’t have enough photo editing apps and tools to make your images look as unique as possible, the team behind the app Fragment has an app they can offer up that will give you the powers to turn your pictures into prismatic works of art. Prismatic art they call it. Basically what the application does is take your images and adds some abstract shapes to it to give it a totally new look. It might be just what you’re looking for to bring out your artistic side, it might not be. For $1.99 perhaps you want a little bang for your buck, some extra features or something, or maybe just some way to improve your photo and not just alter them. If that’s the case, we won’t judge.
Nevertheless, Fragment does make your pictures look pretty cool. Check out the video and you’ll see what we mean. They certainly put an original spin on your smartphone photos where filters aren’t able to venture. Fragment’s goal is to give users the artistic touch they may have always wanted to bestow upon their photos. Take your creativity to the next level with Fragment. Like many other photo apps out there, Fragment will let you choose to use a photo from your gallery or use the in-app camera feature to snap a new photo, then begin tweaking it with all kinds of shapes.
There actually seems to be a lot of different shapes to choose from, and you can alter the images in just about any way you could imagine possible after selecting the shape or prismatic effect that you like best. You can pinch to zoom in or out making the shape smaller or larger, you can twist it, flip it, and drag your finger around the screen to shift the point of origin. You can alter the brightness and contrast it looks like, you can of course crop, resize, and frame your photos. There are tons of other options included too like desaturation, blend effects, the ability to add colors and plenty more. Admittedly there are actually some really cool options in the app, and the interface looks clean and very well polished. Hats off to the Pixite LLC team, bringing this popular iOS app to Android was a smart move. If you like the idea of adding awesome looking prismatic effects to your images, you can grab Fragment from the Play Store for $1.99.
