Top Android Homescreen July 18th Edition: Classic

Sometimes in the world of customization and themeing within Android, we can forget that beauty and style can come out of the simplest or most minimalist design setups. This is true with this weeks homescreen, titled simply, Classic. Created by an individual and member of,(where we find all our picks)named Corrado27, Classic takes the Android homescreen and gives it a simple yet stylish and functional design that could be looked at as completely understated. There is a place for the truly intricate and complex designs that people come up with, and some of the really gorgeous ones definitely deserve some praise and have been some of my favorites. Classic though, is just one of those "classically good looking" designs that shouldn't be overlooked. Classic was created using multiple apps and widgets, and Corrado27 was kind enough to post all the details of his build setup for this homescreen at the mycolorscreen page. Make sure to head there and "zoom" the image of the theme, and hit the love button to give Corrado27 some credit. You can re-create this homescreen setup yourself if you really enjoy it and have a love for the simple yet stylish designs. First you'll need to download a couple apps to make that happen. Make sure to grab Apex Launcher Pro, although NOVA Prime works too as it's pretty similar to Apex Pro. You also want to be sure to download and install Zooper Pro. That's it, two simple apps is all you'll need. You can grab the actual instructions off of Corrado27's page for this theme(which you can find at the source link below), and he also has the dropbox link posted for the Zooper widget files you'll need as well, which also includes the wallpaper if you want to use that although you can mix that part up if you prefer. Happy themeing!
