Samsung's Galaxy Tab S Experience Allows You to 'Test Drive' Features on Your Device

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S series of tablets is an exciting addition to the Samsung tablet line, as they inch and claw their way to out do Apple in this market segment.  The Galaxy Tab S line are the first tablets in years that use Samsung's infamous Super AMOLED displays of either 8.4-inches or 10.5-inches and are now available just about everywhere.  Pricing in the U.S. is $399 for the 8.4-inch model and $499 for the 10.5-inch display...and the display is what Samsung is touting as its most important features.  Samsung's Executive VP of Global marketing  Younghee Lee, stated that, "There is no other tablet on the market that can compete with the unrivaled viewing experience, innovative design aesthetics, and industry-leading productivity features of the Galaxy Tab S."

The display is awesome to be sure, however, Samsung's newest line of tablets also has many other features - but do they warrant their premium prices?  Samsung is offering some help in making your selection via the new Galaxy Tab S Experience App.  You can get the sensation of using the Galaxy Tab S on any smartphone or tablet using Android 2.2 or better - just go to the Play Store to download the App.  It will show you the virtues of its Super AMOLED display and why it is better than the LCD technology.  You will see how it can accept phone calls on the tablet from a 'connected phone.' You can give the old fingerprint scanner a try-out and see how its size compares to other objects.

Both size tablets share a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution display and depending what market you pick one up, it could have a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chip or a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor.  Both have 3GB of RAM with either 16GB or 32GB of storage - but they also have a microSD card slot to add up to an additional 128GB of memory.  Bluetooth 4.0 and an IR Blaster are onboard, as well as an 8MP main camera and a 2.1MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfies.  A 4900mAh battery powers the 8.4-inch and the 10.5-inch is using a 7900mAh battery.  Standard Multi-Window for opening up more than one window at a time, and with SideSync, you can view your smartphone homescreen on the tablet and easily copy, cut and paste files or folders from one device to the other.  Adaptive Display that automatically adjusts the display to the material you are viewing for the best presentation possible and Samsung's KNOX security software helps round off some of the top features.
