There has been a little more buzz lately about what HTC may have up their sleeves in the way of a smartwatch, although we still don't really know anything concrete about it. However it seems that HTC's upcoming wearable does appear in a video posted by the company, which is about their behind the scenes "HTC Design". There is nothing specific noted about their design in the title of the video, just HTC Design in general. During the video though you get a sneak peek of a watch sitting on the desk belonging to the one of the employees, which could very well be a test or early stage demo unit of what the final product may be once HTC launches it.
This is of course speculation as we have no way of knowing that the watch that can be seen in the video is that coming from HTC, but it seems like a good guess, especially considering that you can see the same designer who's desk the watch is on, working on the design of what looks to be the a smartwatch casing. We'ere not sure if HTC meant to actually show this off as subtly as possible, or if it was indeed a mistake and not meant to be shown. What most likely the case at least what seems logical from where we're sitting, is that it wouldn't matter much to HTC who sees what we can see here, as the view of the watch and the design on the computer screen being worked on aren't very clear, so not much can be given away from it.
The watch appears to be sitting in a stand or a dock of some kind, which may have been designed just to prop it up while working on further designs on the desktop. It's important that we not look too much into what we see here but what we see is definitely a smartwatch. However it is way too early to tell whether it is the Android Wear device we're expecting from HTC or not. Take a look at the video for yourself and see what you think.
