Here's something that you should take with a grain of salt. While the OnePlus One was codenamed Bacon, according to Evleaks the successor – the OnePlus Two – will be codenamed Lettuce. That's about all he gave us today. Now it's important to take this with a grain of salt after the last OnePlus rumor that went out a few weeks ago, which was fake. But we know that OnePlus is working on their second smartphone already, because it does take almost a year from the beginning to the end of smartphone development. In fact, all the OEMs are working on next years smartphones already. The thing we didn't know, was that it would be named Lettuce. I guess the guys over at OnePlus are hungry since the One was codenamed Bacon. That's starting to make me hungry.
While the OnePlus One still isn't really for sale yet, it's interesting to see rumors of the successor already coming out. And it's bound to make some people upset. But remember this is a brand new company. A company that is going to make mistakes, because after all it is ran by humans and humans do make mistakes. Hopefully OnePlus has learned from their mistakes with the One and will do a better launch with the Two next year. As the OnePlus One is a pretty amazing device. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and am loving the device. It's running CyanogenMod 11S which we all already know and love, and the hardware is pretty top notch. So what could OnePlus do with the Two? Maybe add a 16MP camera instead of 13MP, maybe add Qi wireless charging, perhaps double the storage to 128GB? Maybe add a microSD card slot? There are a lot of things they could add, even though this seems to be almost the perfect phone already.
