Yellow Nexus 5 Possibly on its Way?

Google may have just outed the yellow Nexus 5. Right now, the Google Nexus 5 is only available in black, white and red. However the "Android Phones & Tablets" page on the Android site "Nexus 5 is precision-built from strong materials, and the intelligently simple design showcases more of what matters to you. It's the most powerful Nexus phone yet â€" and it comes in black, white, red, and yellow." Once more, there's a banner on that page (found here) that shows the Nexus 5 in yellow. Thanks to Reddit user tjs06 for the heads up this morning.

So are we looking at Google launching another color for the Nexus 5 soon? We had heard rumors earlier this year that the Nexus 5 would be available in a slew of new colors. But all we got was red. We have seen the yellow Nexus 5 in other leaks in the past. So it could be just a case of Google pulling the trigger to early on their website, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it just appear on the Google Play Store later today or even next week. Although if they are looking to release a new color,  they'll need to release it soon as the Nexus 5 will be outdated in the fall once Android L launches with new hardware (as every version of Android does every year).

A yellow Nexus 5? I wonder if it would be as popular as the red Nexus 5 was/is. The red Nexus 5 was really popular, especially with the earpiece being red, but the yellow version, I'm not 100% sure it'll be super popular. What do the rest of you think? Would you buy a yellow Nexus 5? Let us know in the comments down below.
