SoundFreaq Announces the Portable Pocket Kick

On Tuesday, SoundFreaq announced their newest ultra-portable speaker, which is the Pocket Kick. It's a pretty small speaker, which is what makes it so portable, it also puts out some great sound as well as having pretty decent battery life. It features about 10 hours of battery life and uses Bluetooth 4.0. It also has a built-in microphone, so if needed you can take calls with this speaker. It's available in black, platinum and gold, although the platinum and gold versions won't be available until next week. Pocket Kick streams music via Bluetooth 4.0 and with its two custom drivers, pumps out impressive sound for its small size that's surprisingly loud, full and clear. The ultra-compact speaker features a pair of custom engineered drivers and a passive radiator sandwiched between two full-metal, open air grills. Meticulously tuned, the design is optimized for airflow and projects full-frequency sound with lower frequencies kicked out the back.

To ensure a user's listening experience can last all day while on-the-go, Pocket Kick is equipped with a rechargeable battery for up to 10 hours of playtime. It also has a built-in microphone, making it easy to take calls wirelessly. Pocket Kick includes a line-in jack for any device with a 3.5mm headphone jack and charges via a micro USB charging port, making it easy to charge regardless of your location. It also comes with a lanyard for carrying convenience.

Pocket Kick deviates from Soundfreaq's more well-known design aesthetic of sharp right angles and edges. Abandoning the rigid geometry commonly found on other Soundfreaq's products, Pocket Kick's rounded edges allow the speaker to be more pocket and travel friendly.
