Sony Xperia E1 on Bell for $149.95 or $0 on a Two-Year Contract

Without much fanfare, Bell has added the new Sony Xperia E1 to its flock of available devices for $0 down on a two-year contract or for only $149.95 with no-term.  Besides the low price for a Sony device, the Xperia E1 comes with a powerful 100dB speaker with bass enhancement for a louder and richer sound, as well as a dedicated button for direct access to the WALKMAN App.  Not only will you have access to the largest 4G network in Canada, you will have access to 40 live and on demand channels with Bell's TV App.

The Sony Experia E1 comes with a 4-inch 800 x 400 display and powered by a Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 512MB of RAM.  Internal storage is 4GB, however, there is a microSD slot to add up to an additional 32GB of storage.  The main camera is only 3MP and selfies are out as there is no front-facing camera on board for that purpose.  It comes with a removable 1700mAh battery to power the device, which is running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Experia E1 comes with Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 - even a set of earphones are in the box.  The device measures a mere 118 x 62.4 x 12 mm and weighs in at 120 grams.  Bell also sells a wide variety of accessories that are compatible with the Experia E1.

The Experia E1 is quite obviously a lower end device with its display, processor, RAM and onboard memory, but it should offer superior sound quality with the large  and loud 100dB speaker - making it perfect for young kids that blast their music or even an older person that may be hard of hearing...what a great speakerphone! When you couple that with the Bell network, Sony may have a winner on its hands - a Sony smartphone for $150...pretty unheard off. Check out the video below.

So please, hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if the Sony Experia E1 is a device that you may be interest in purchasing.  It would make a great first smartphone for a younger or older person, not interested in a lot of bells and always, we would love to hear from you.
