Sonic Dash Gets Exclusive Android Love Including Everyone's Favorite Green Robot

Sonic Dash is one of the few amazing endless runners out there. There are some good ones, and there are some great ones, and there are a few really awesome titles to note, Sonic Dash is one of those. Perhaps it's just my love of Sonic, having grown up spending countless Saturday mornings playing the original games on Sega Genesis and even watching Sonic cartoons. In any case, two of my current favorite things have now come together, with the new exclusive update to Sonic Dash for Android gamers.

Those who play Sonic Dash on Android devices will for a limited time during the special promotion, get the chance to race Andy the little green Android robot in the game. This is a special treat for those who love the game already but also love Android and can appreciate these tiny novelties. It isn't often that we see cool little things like this in game but when it does happen it can bring a smile to your face even if only for a few moments. The really cool part about this Android only promotion is that if you do well while racing as the green robot, you can permanently unlock a Sonic themed Android robot called Andronic. Don't worry, he wasn't built by Dr. Eggman to fool you and learn all of Sonic's secrets.

If you play Sonic Dash already than the update should be live now and Andy should be a playable character right away. As it currently stands, there are 11 days left of this special Android promotion and you have to race with the Android robot 50 times before you can permanently(or at all for that matter)unlock the Andronic character, which shouldn't be too hard to do. You can actually do that in a few hours if you play your heart out. As you may already know Sonic Dash is free with optional IAP, but playing the game consistently will get you anything you need so there's no requirement to spend any real world money. What's more, if you log in and play every day you get special rewards so there's more incentive(besides the fun!)to play often. Has anyone unlocked the Androinc yet?
