New Glassware App Makes Grocery Shopping Easier Than Ever

If there is one thing that Google Glass does well, its displaying information right before our eyes. Google Glass has been able to let us use our hands for other task in life. We no longer have to grab our handset from our pocket to take a picture, get directions, or stop to send someone a quick text. All of the important information that we want is being displayed in front of our face. The only thing that we have to do is stop and look. With our hands free and able to complete other necessary task in life, Google has capitalized and made grocery shopping a bit easier. New in the Glassware store is a new app called "Shop X." Instead of worrying about carrying around a list on a piece of paper or having to hold your phone with a list in your favorite notepad, Google Glass now shows you what you need to pick up from the grocery right in front of you.

The way the new app works is after you enable Shop X on your Google Glass, you can create your entire grocery list by voice. All you have to do is say "Ok Glass, take a note" and begin speaking out you list of items. The Shop X app will take note of what you are speaking and generate a detailed list. Shop X categorizes all of the items that are in your shopping list and sorts them by category. When you pick up the items listed, you can easily check them off and go to the next one on your list. Speaking out to the app is just one option to create a list, you can also make a list online via their website. Any shopping list that is created is synced online so they can be viewed on either your glass or any other device you may carry.

Right now Shop X  is currently available in the Google Glass Googleware Store. Like everything else that is available in the Glassware Store, Shop X is free to get and will help you quickly get your shopping done.
