MotoMaker Heading to Germany Next?

While Motorola is closing down their MotoMaker factory here in the US, it looks like MotoMaker isn't going away. As Motorola Mobility just released a new video on their YouTube channel titled "Moto Maker DE", so we're assuming it's for Germany. Of course we have no proof about it landing in Germany or being available there, but it seems very likely given the video and the title. We should be learning more soon though.

Moto Maker allows you to customize your Moto X. So you can choose what kind of back plate color you want – whether it be blue, black, gray, red, or even made of wood. It also allows you to choose your storage size, and a few other goodies as well. Now we've heard that Motorola's closing their US Moto Maker plant and moving it all to China – probably because of Lenovo buying them – but they have said that Moto Maker isn't going away. And that we'll still be getting our phones shipped pretty quickly, even from China. Which will be an interesting site to see, in my opinion.

We are expecting the Moto X+1 to be announced pretty soon, as the Moto X is almost a year old now. That and we are seeing more and more leaks of the Moto X+1 surfacing lately. So far what we know is that it'll have a 1080p display, along with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options. That's about it for now. Although we should see more soon, as TK Tech News seems to have a demo unit on hand, and I'm sure he'll be leaking out more information of the Moto X+1 very soon.

Take a look at the video down below, from Motorola's YouTube channel, and let us know what you think in the comments down below. Are you excited for MotoMaker in Germany?
