This morning, Google announced Android Auto which ties in with Android L which is being released this fall – developer preview goes live tomorrow. Now we are live on the floor at Moscone Center for Google I/O so we were able to get hands on with Android Auto and see what it’s all about and how great it really is. Android Auto is going to be in a bunch of cars later this year, and will be optional for some car makers – like Hyundai who has also partnered with Apple for Carplay. Many of the members of the Open Automotive Alliance will be supporting Android Auto. It’s a pretty neat operating system, and definitely not as clunky as what we have in most of our cars right now. Best of all it’s something that actually works with our Android devices, as most others work with iOS and not Android. Check out the images down below of Android Auto.
