Android How To: Quickly Launch the Camera on the LG G3

The LG G3 is in our hands, and as promised, we're going through every inch of the device. We've learned quite a bit about LG's latest flagship over the past couple of days. And one thing that did not change from the LG G2 to the G3, was the camera shortcut. Most of you that own the LG G2 probably know all about long-pressing the back volume down button to jump into the camera. Well it still works on the G3, and we're here to show you how to do it.

To jump into the camera from a turned off LG G3, just hold down the Volume down button for a few seconds. You'll feel the device vibrate gently and then the screen will unlock and jump into the camera. It's pretty quick as well. Then you are able to go ahead and focus in on a subject and take some pictures. Of course if you have your device secure with a password or a pattern or even Knock Code it will take a bit longer. But still pretty quick.
