Tomorrow is the day. The day that we learn more about the LG G3, actually we'll learn just about everything about the LG G3 tomorrow. As LG is holding their launch event tomorrow afternoon here in New York City as well as in London. Now the LG G3 has appeared on LG's Dutch website, and gives us all kinds of information about the device, including all the specs. So let's run through them real quick.
As far specs go, the 5.5 inch quad HD display is confirmed, that'd be a 2560x1440 resolution display, the dimensions are 146.3x74.6x9.1, 3000mAh battery inside, 16GB internal storage with support for 128GB microSD card, 13-megapixel camera which does 4K video shooting, OIS and laser autofocus, we also have a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter. LG has added in Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and of course it supports 4G, 3G and 2G. However these bands are for the Netherlands, so they'll be different for the US. And will change based on the carrier.
There's not much here in terms of software, but we do know that it's running Android 4.4 KitKat, and of course the UI has been refined as LG does with their skin every year. We'll have plenty more coming for the LG G3 tomorrow when LG makes the device official. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can get our hands on this device. With the LG G2 being such an underrated device last year, I think the LG G3 is going to be a pretty big seller. Maybe not near the Galaxy S5 or Note 4, but definitely better than everyone else.
