The LG G3 was just announced a few hours ago, and LG has already released their first ad for the new device. LG really needs to step up their marketing for the LG G3, especially since they are the number three phone manufacturer worldwide now. Hopefully we'll see plenty of marketing from LG for the LG G3 this year. But their first one basically shows off the design of the device, as well as some of the features, the hardware, and just about everything you want to know about the LG G3. The LG G3 is available beginning tomorrow in South Korea and about 170 other countries next month, that includes all four major US carriers - that'd be AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
The specs on the LG G3 include a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 resolution IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of internal storage or 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB, 13MP camera with OIS+ and Laser AutoFocus, 2MP front-facing camera, 3000mAh removable battery, and Android 4.4 - KitKat. It's a pretty fast device, and one that should sell pretty well, similar to how the G2 did.
It's great to see another OEM trying to give Samsung a run for their money, not because I don't like Samsung, but because I like seeing competition. And when one OEM owns more than 50% of the market, it's tough to have competition there. And I think LG just might be able to give Samsung some good competition. After all, they are now number three behind Samsung and Apple respectively. You can check out the commercial down below. Also let us know what you think in the comments down below. I really like how they are marketing the LG G3 right now.
