We've been hearing lots of rumors about both the HTC One M8 Prime and the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. Now we're getting a new image from Evleaks that points to the HTC One M8 Prime, although all he says is "Prime: coming soon" in his tweet. But judging by the picture, we're pretty confident he's talking about HTC and not Samsung this time. Since the design is identical to the HTC One M8, aside from colors. What we see here is the duo-camera setup again, which was on the M8, but not on the One Mini 2. It appears that the camera does stick out a bit more, than it did on the M8, but it also has an orange ring around it. Which in this picture it looks great, but in real life...we'll have to wait and see.
So far there's not a whole lot known about the HTC One M8 Prime, it seems HTC has kept this one a bigger secret than the HTC One M8 which leaked out on video a bunch of times before launch. Although the specs we've heard is a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 resolution display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot of course, a slightly bigger battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The camera has also been bumped up, bumped up a lot. Latest reports were pointing at a 18-megapixel shooter on the back. I'd say that makes up for the 4-megapixel shooter they put on the HTC One M8 earlier this year, right?
The HTC One M8 Prime is said to be coming this fall, although Evleaks did say it was coming soon. But we have no idea what his definition of "coming soon" is, it could be the same as the carriers and OEMs. Who's excited for the HTC One M8 Prime? Let us know in the comments below.
